I haven’t read the rest of this series yet, but when I saw this book was being released this year, I had to add it and the rest of the series to my list. I love winter and snow, but I don’t get a whole lot of it where I am. So the next best thing? Immersing myself in a book in a winter wonderland.

Former Hollywood darling River Lane’s acting career is tanking fast. Determined to start fresh behind the camera, she agrees to film a documentary about the picturesque small town of Moose Springs, Alaska. I usually don’t seek out a lot of enemies-to-lovers books (I really just love fluff), but the concept of this just seems so fun and fresh, so I’m excited to give it a read. Also, I’ve heard great things about it.

But lately it’s been a constant clash between her and her newest colleague, Dominic Yun, who’s fresh off a journalism master’s program and convinced he knows everything about public radio.

This one, I have to admit, is purely for research purposes. I’ve got a brain worm for a novel idea set in politics, so when I saw that a political romance novel was being released this year, I had to add it to my list.

One, I love that the main character has a PhD. Girls in STEM? YES PLEASE. The added bonus of an accidental marriage and women loving women? Even better.

Ok, it may be cliche, but I love the mash-up of a wedding-obsessed person and a jaded divorce attorney. Plus a crafting game show? This should make for a very interesting read.

I’m so excited for this. I keep hearing great things about this book. I was sold with the To All the Boys vibes and bisexual representation.

Her advice, spot on. Her love life, way off.

I am such a sucker for both childhood friends-to-lovers and fake dating, so a mash up of the two sounds like a great book to me. Also, the main character is another woman in STEM, which I adore.

With her life all planned out, and no interest in love, the one thing she can’t give her family is the marriage they expect. Left with few options, she asks her childhood crush to be her decoy fiance.

A marriage of convenience will get Daisy’s matchmaking relatives off her back and fulfill the terms of his late grandfather’s will. If only he hadn’t broken her tender teenage heart nine years ago…

I adore this comic so much. I’ve been keeping up with it via Tumblr since I discovered it in October of last year, so I’ve already read the chapters this volume will contain, but I’m excited to read them again in print form.

Is this on my list because it reminds me of Red, White & Royal Blue? Yes. 1000% yes, it is.

And speaking of Red, White & Royal Blue… This may be my most anticipated novel of the year. Casey McQuiston absolutely wrecked me with RWRB, and I can’t wait for them to do the same with One Last Stop.

She can’t imagine how waiting tables at a 24-hour pancake diner and moving in with too many weird roommates could possibly change that. I adored The Sun is Also a Star, so when I saw that Nicola Yoon was coming out with another book, I had to add it to my list. It’s also for sentimental reasons, because a ballroom dance club is how I met my husband, so I can already tell you it’s an amazing setting for two people to fall in love.

Evie Thomas doesn’t believe in love anymore. Especially after the strangest thing occurs one otherwise ordinary afternoon: She witnesses a couple kiss and is overcome with a vision of how their romance began . . . and how it will end. After all, even the greatest love stories end with a broken heart, eventually.

As Evie tries to understand why this is happening, she finds herself at La Brea Dance studio, learning to waltz, fox-trot, and tango with a boy named X. June just seems to be filled with books being released from authors I adore. I fell in love with Lauren Layne’s writing when I read her Stiletto and Oxford Series, so I’m very excited to read her latest novel.
