There’s nothing better than immersing yourself in a good book. And if you’re a bookworm like me, then diving into a new book can be a whole sensory experience; you make yourself a cup of tea or grab a glass of wine, you turn on some soft lighting, light a candle, cozy up with a plushy blanket, and sometimes turn on something for background noise.
Now, I will admit I don’t often listen to actual music while reading. I find that because of my ADHD, sometimes music can interfere with the picture that forms in my head while reading. I do listen to music whenever I write, though. And for me, writing is a whole sensory experience, too. I have several different playlists depending on the genre or mood I’m writing in.
So, whether you are a reader or a writer, here is a list of the best bookish Spotify playlists.
